The Wedding Weekend
Friday, May 2nd &
Saturday, May. 3rd, 2025
We are delighted to invite you to the celebration of our marriage
Albanian weddings are traditionally vibrant, multi-day celebrations. Our wedding festivities will follow this tradition, with the main events happening on Friday and Saturday.
We hope you'll join us for both days to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of both Albanian and Finnish wedding traditions. Friday will be a traditional Albanian wedding celebration, and while it’s entirely optional, it offers an opportunity to experience this cultural tradition. Saturday will be a more modern celebration, where we’ll blend Finnish wedding customs with a relaxed, fun atmosphere.
The Grand Albanian Wedding
Friday 2 May
The celebration will begin at 12:00 at Restaurant Egnatia in Fier. Get ready for an afternoon of vibrant traditional Albanian dancing, with the groom’s relatives leading the couple in joyful, celebratory dances. You can also look forward to an abundance of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and a lively atmosphere as we celebrate together.
The Ceremony & Dinner Party
Saturday 3 May
On Saturday afternoon, we’ll host a smaller yet equally special gathering. The day begins with a ceremony by the beach in front of Hotel Garden.
Following the ceremony, we’ll move to Zoe Hora Resort in Dhermi for a reception dinner. In true Finnish wedding tradition, this evening will feature music, fun wedding games, delicious food, and an open bar. Bring your dancing shoes, the party will continue until late.

Friday
We kindly ask you to arrange your own transportation to Restorant Egnatia in Fier on Friday. The journey takes about 35 min. from the center of Vlore, depending on traffic. If you don’t have a car, we can assist by coordinating carpooling with other guests. Just let us know if you need help, and we’ll make sure you’re taken care of!
Saturday
On Saturday, we’ll provide complimentary bus transportation for everyone from the ceremony at Hotel Garden to Zoe Hora in Dhermi. For the return trip, we’ll offer two options: an earlier departure at 10-11PM and a late-night bus around 1AM after the party ends. This way, you can fully enjoy the evening without worrying about driving! But if you’d like more flexibility with your return time, you’re of course welcome to come by car.

Dress code
Friday: Semi-formal vibes! Suits for the guys (ties optional—don’t sweat it) and dresses for the ladies. Albanians love a bit of sparkle, so you don’t have to hold back on the glamour.
Saturday: Think relaxed chic. If you'd like, skip the tie, and for the ladies, dresses, jumpsuits, or stylish skirts and tops are spot-on. Don’t forget a warm jacket for the evening and comfy flats or low heels—your feet will thank you when tackling the beach and cobblestones!
